Every piece starts from hand-picked wooden boards in our workshop in Bertiolo, Friuli: no plastic, no mass-produced print. The grain is unique, the surface ages gracefully, and the object stays warm to the touch — a detail paper and metal can't offer.
Dashboard & analytics
The optional subscription cloud platform reads every tap: stats, leads, newsletters and an AI assistant. Cards and totems work without any subscription.
How it works
Every Wood·Touch product hides an NFC chip inside the wood: just tap your smartphone — no app to download — to open the contact page, the restaurant menu or the social profile. The tap works on iPhone and Android.

The four woods
Larch, Oak, Okoumé and Spruce: you pick the wood when you order, and it is the first thing that changes how the card looks. Larch keeps a warm tone and a clearly readable grain, Oak is the darkest and most compact, Okoumé has a very fine, almost uniform grain, Spruce stays the palest. The card is built from three layers of wood glued with the grain crossing at 90°: that is what keeps it flat and stable at two millimetres thick.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a wooden NFC business card cost?
45 euro, everything included: three cross-grained layers of wood, personalised laser engraving, an NFC chip already programmed with your details, and shipping across Italy. From three pieces up the unit price goes down — for a team order we agree on a quote.
How long does it take from order to delivery?
Seven to fourteen working days from the moment the order and the artwork are confirmed. Every piece is made to measure and does not come out of a warehouse. When it ships you get the tracking number on WhatsApp or by email.
Does anyone need to install an app?
No — neither you nor the person receiving the card. The phone reads the chip from a few centimetres away and shows a notification by itself: one tap and your details are saved to their contacts.
Does it work with every smartphone?
With iPhone 7 and later (iOS 14 or newer) and with almost every NFC-equipped Android from 2015 onwards: over 95% of the phones in use in Italy. Only the oldest models are left out.
Can I change my contact details after delivery?
Yes, and free of charge for ever. You never touch the chip: you update your number, website or job title from the dashboard, live immediately — that is why a wooden card lasts as long as your career.
What does the lifetime warranty cover?
If the wood breaks, the chip stops working or the engraving wears away because of a manufacturing defect, we send you a new one after a quick look at the case. It is not a marketing formula: it follows from building well an object that carries our name engraved on it.
